More baseball fans have already attended games at First Tennessee Park then attended all games in the final season of Greer Stadium.

The Sounds have averaged 7,735 through their first 43 home dates in their first season at First Tennessee Park. The total turnstile count is 332,604.

The Sounds have already bypassed their 2014 season total of 323,961 when they averaged 4,909 in their final season at Greer Stadium.

In their 38th season, the Sounds have attracted 14,786,422. The franchise needs to average 7,364 over their final 29 dates this season to reach 15 million.

The Nashville Sounds rank eighth in attendance among all Triple-A baseball teams in the country.

The Charlotte Knights lead Triple-A baseball in attendance, averaging 9,479 per game.

The Sounds and the rest of Triple-A baseball teams began the second half of their seasons on Thursday. The Sounds opened a four-game weekend series against Omaha. They then travel to Colorado Springs, July 20-23, before returning home for a eight-game homestand against Omaha and Iowa.

The Sounds season continues through Sept. 7. The team concludes its home schedule with a four-game series against Round Rock, Aug. 31-Sept. 3
