Coca-Cola Named Ballpark's Official Soft Drink Provider

Tuesday, February 24, 2015

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club is pleased to announce a multi-year partnership with Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated that makes Coca-Cola the official soft drink and water provider for the brand-new First Tennessee Park, which opens in April in North Nashville.

The agreement ensures that Sounds fans will continue to enjoy the wide variety of Coke brand fountain and bottled sodas and drinks that have been long-term staples at Sounds' concession stands, including Coca-Cola Classic and Dasani Water.

"Coca-Cola has long been associated with the great pastime of baseball. People don't come to the ballpark to have a hot dog and a soft drink … they say, 'I'll have a hot dog and a Coke'," said Sounds COO Garry Arthur. "This is a tradition we are excited to continue for a long time at First Tennessee Park."

"Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated is honored to continue its partnership with the Nashville Sounds Baseball Club. We are looking forward to being a part of the excitement the opening of First Tennessee Park will bring to the downtown Nashville area," said Bill Keenan, Area Sales Manager at Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated. "Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated prides itself on partnering with local businesses and organizations that have a positive impact on the community."

The partnership also includes the placement of an eight-foot statue of Coca-Cola's iconic bottle, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, within First Tennessee Park.

Season membership packages for First Tennessee Park are currently on sale. Opening Day is Friday, April 17th! Stop by the Sounds' administrative offices at Greer Stadium or visit the team's website at www.nashvillesounds.com to order or for further details.
